explore the course

Week 1
Setting the foundation. What is mindfulness? How does it work? And how do you begin a mindfulness practice that matters.
We’ll explore all this plus you will learn a mindfulness practice you can use “on the spot” for accessing physical calm and mental clarity.
Week 2
Finding flow. In this session you will explore a mindfulness practice that has been foundational for thousands of years: mindfulness of the natural breath. You’ll learn the particular benefits and insights that this practice has to offer.

Week 3
Rooting mindfulness in the body. As our practice grows steady and stronger, we can begin to attune to the “language” of the body — sensation. In doing so, you attune to your body’s natural wisdom, and can promote personal connection, healing, and true rest.
Week 4
Cultivating the good heart. Happiness and contentment are not found solely by relieving stress and tension, or even by experiencing calm.
In the final class you will learn the science and practice of engaging and cultivating positive attitudes and emotions.
Attending this four week series you will learn foundational mindfulness meditation practices that are intended to provide benefit in the near and long term.
This class is excellent for brand new beginners or those with any established meditation practice looking to deepen their understanding and experience.
Recordings of all class teachings and guided mindfulness practices will be provided weekly. In addition, attendees will receive weekly study guides and recommended reading!
